Theme: “Connected Faith: Living Prayer in the Digital Age”
On Wednesday, November 26, 2025, the Pope met with participants at the 104th General Assembly of the Union of Superiors General.
In his address, the Supreme Pontiff highlighted three areas that are essential for consecrated life today: relationship with God, encounter with brothers and sisters, and clear discernment in the face of the digital world.
He urged them to cultivate prayer and not to neglect meetings with their brothers. Finally, he invited them to take advantage of the “extraordinary possibilities” offered by technology without neglecting human relationships.
Before taking his leave of his hosts, the Pope took care to answer a series of questions prepared by the USG office for the occasion.
It was with genuine pleasure that he took the time to personally greet each superior general.
