The Charism Commission (its new name) met in Lyon from December 3 to 6 to prepare for the bicentenary celebrations of Father André Coindre's death. The Eucharistic celebration will take place on May 30, 2026, in Saint-Bruno Church (Lyon), presided over by the Bishop of Blois, Bishop Francis Bestion. This Eucharist will be broadcast online so that the entire Institute can participate.

In addition to meetings with the various stakeholders of the celebration to clarify its modalities, the Commission met every afternoon to develop the program for the year 2026 and also to reflect on the development of the Coindre Family for the period 2027-2030.

On Friday, December 5, the Commission met with Father Pierre Peyret, responsible for the causes of saints in the diocese of Lyon, to present the Institute's desire to open the cause of Father Coindre. He indicated that he would submit our request to the Archbishop of Lyon, Mgr. Olivier de Germay. Following the meeting in Lyon, Brother Antonio López went to Blois to meet Bishop Francis Bestion and prepare with him the Eucharistic celebration of the bicentenary.
