Brother Ivy LeBlanc was recently appointed to the role of Treasurer General for the Institute.  Brother Ivy has been the treasurer of the United States province for many years and has extensive experience with reporting systems and investments.  Previously he has served as a leader in our schools and as provincial.  He understands the reality of this role from all perspectives.

Given the nature of the General House and Administration finances, we are planning a new format for the treasurer’s office where we will have qualified local staff, familiar with Italian requirements, overseen by the treasurer general.  Brother Ivy will not be relocating to Rome but communicating with the local staff through a variety of electronic means and by personal visits.

Our goal is to create a professional streamlined office in service to the general administration.  The office is tasked to maintain all financial records, including the financial reporting of the administration.  In this role, Brother Ivy will also be re-examining our policies regarding our patrimony in Italy and our investments. The goal is always to best serve the Brothers worldwide and to hopefully find effective ways to continuing to support the mission in every corner of the world.

We are grateful for his availability and interest in this challenge to develop a new financial model that can support the General Administration now and into the future.
