In the course of the 2024 General Chapter, there was an expressed desire for greater collaborative and consultative structures across the Institute (Decision 2024-13).  The Commission for the Charism has already provided great impetus for the work of the charism in its preparations and planning for the bicentennial celebrations and elsewhere.

In line with Decision 2024-20 which created an international Commission for Vocations Ministry, the Superior General in Council consulted the four conferences of the Institute and now appoints the following persons to this commission:

Brother Marcio Diniz (BRA)

Brother Henri Gbalenon (AFO)

Brother Fenndy Jeantinor (HAI)

Brother Ronald Hingle (USA)

Given the Chapter focus on the Global compact for Education (Decision 2024-19) and its wider interest in other international commissions (Decision 2024-15), the Superior General in Council has created the Commission for Education and, after consultation with the conferences, has appointed the following persons to this commission:

Brother Stéphane-Léon Sané – Chair

Brother Louis André Bellemare (CAN)

Brother John Chindangu (ESA)

Brother Jean Doum Hani (AFC)

Brother Omar Hoyos (COL)

We are deeply grateful for their availability for this mission of the Institute and look forward to the results of their collaboration in the future.  Members of the general council will serve as coordinators of these committees as they discuss, plan and implement their work.
