COINDRE MEETING
Posted on by fsceditor
The first Coindre Meeting took place on October 12, 2024. Prepared and convened by the Commission for the Promotion of the Foundational Charism (CPCF), it brought together 151 brothers and lay people (about 45% brothers and 55% laypeople) from 15 entities of the Institute, and from 29 countries.
The meeting, which is intended to be annual and virtual, is an initiative to deepen collaboration and exchange around the charism of our founder. After a brief introduction, Brother Emilio Rodrigo, author of the book "The holiness and death of André Coindre", presented a summary highlighting the key points of this event, whose bicentenary we will celebrate in 2026.
This was followed by work in language groups, culminating in a simple sharing in common. The meeting ended with a prayer, inviting us to become heirs to a charism capable of making us saints, if we allow God to realize his dream in each of us. In the Church, "all of us" share a common vocation to holiness, even if we don't all follow the same path.
