From March 3 to 7, 2025, the superiors of the entities of Latin America (South America, Brazil, Colombia, Peru) and Spain held their ordinary annual meeting. Together they form the Conference of America Latina e España (CALE).

The main themes were: animation based on the ordinance of the General Chapter “Sowers of Hope”, vocation ministry, initial and ongoing formation, shared mission and the Charismatic Family (Coindre), the promotion of the CALE network as a form of collaboration and unification among the entities, etc.

The session took place in Lima (Peru), at the CALE novitiate, where two confreres are currently in formation: Emmanuel Rave (Colombia) and Ignacio Agustin Diaz (America Austral). The superiors did not miss the opportunity to meet with them and the formation team.

The Superiors had the opportunity to get to know the nearest apostolic works: St. Jude-Corazonistas (Lima), Fe y Alegria 32 (San Juan de Lurigancho-Lima) and Sacred Heart-Michel (Barranca). Every CALE meeting is an opportunity to get to know each entity and to meet the confreres, teachers and students of some educational works.

Brother Carlos Almaraz, General Councilor, liaison for CALE, was unable to attend due to health problems, but he participated online from Rome.
