Reflections of Brother Jacques Anthony Germeil. Province of Haiti.

Hope is a precious gift that enables us to get through trials and stay the course. More than ever, we need this active hope to help us face the many challenges before us. We need to deploy specific means to sow this hope in our communities and apostolic environments, just as we did among ourselves, brothers from different entities of the Institute during the general chapter.

Like the first Christian community, we were assiduous in listening to the Word of God, faithful to fraternal communion despite our different backgrounds, to the celebration of the Eucharist and to daily prayer.

Let us continue to strive every day to be a community that challenges others through our lifestyle centered on Christ, the source of our hope.

We want to build a future where our language and actions reflect our reality more faithfully, based on the hope of a renewed community where life is good.

Let us be sowers of hope everywhere!
