VISIT TO THE PROVINCE OF BRAZIL

Posted on by fsceditor

During the month of May 2025, the General Council, in the persons of Brother Mark, Superior General, and Brother Carlos, Councilor, made the canonical visitation of the Province of Brazil. This province is made up of 24 brothers i.e. 23 in Brazil and one in Amatongas. And, it is responsible for five educational and social works: two schools and three social centers. In addition to these five works, it has a historical presence in our mission of Amatongas, Mozambique.

The province's mission is structured in three areas: education (in two schools, one of which is free for children from low-income families), social mission (in centers that welcome 200 children and adolescents each, completing their school day and enriching their formation and learning with multiple activities), and a great pastoral mission, since the majority of the brothers collaborate in the pastoral work of our various educational works.

The programs for the promotion of the charism and vocation ministry stand out, where the brothers put a lot of effort and dedication.

In short, it was a visit that has opened the doors of the province to us, where we have felt the warmth of the welcome and fraternity and where we have received the appreciation and affection of the students and the collaborators in the mission.

The visit culminated in the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Aparecida, Patroness of Brazil, placing under her gaze and protection the whole province and the Brazilian people.
